Assateague Island

We recently went to the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula (that would be Virginia) to visit my Great Aunt Darlene and Uncle Will. My cousin, Emily, and her little boy, Jackson, and flown out from Utah for a visit and we were excited for the rendezvous. Here we are at Assateague Island, one of the barrier Islands off the Ocean Coast of the peninsula.

Emily and Jackson. Troy and the sandcastle

Jackson found a sand crab and it was so neat to see it. It tried to escape but Jackson is really quick.

When he showed Landon the crab, Landon wanted to take a bite!

Cute, cute boys!

The famous Island Creamery. Can I say, the absolute best homemade waffle cones ever!
