My Music Man

I had to share this picture back from Nov 17th. I thought it was so cute how he would sing while playing the piano. I would always turn down the volume of the piano and he would turn it right back up!

Our First Thanksgiving

This was our first year that we stayed home and had Thanksgiving dinner on our own. It was nice not to travel for a change. We had our friends Beth and Danny Millward over, as well as one of their friends from school named Missy.

I must say we were great cooks that day. Everyone kept saying Mmmmm all through dinner.

More fun with Grandma

Lots of Stories.

The Tour de Philadelphia

We took my mom on the tour and had a nice time. We've done this a few times now and usually we start at Troy's school.

This is at a park near his school and we thought it was beautiful scenery.

We didn't realize we dressed as twins.
This was a neat sculpture created from sand. You can see the baseball and the Phillies logo in front because they had just won the World Series.
That is where the Declaration of Independence was signed.

The Great Liberty Bell.

Fall Leaves

I'm still blogging about things we did when my mom was here back in the beginning of Nov. I'm trying to catch up....but here we are at this cute little town in the Poconos. It's called Jim Thorpe and the postcards called in Switzerland in the Poconos. It was so beautiful up there. We shopped, ate lunch, and took a train ride. We think east coast leaves are absolutely gorgeous.

Swimming Lessons

Landon recently finished his first swimming lessons! He loved the water and would get excited when he saw the pool. He puts his face in the water, blows bubbles, and can climb out. These pictures were taken when my mom was out for her visit

Lancaster County, PA

My mom came for a visit the end of October and into November. It was fun to have her here and show her PA. While she was here we went to Lancaster County where many Amish live. We had a fun day shopping and Kitchen Kettle Village, making pretzels, and going on a buggy ride given by a real Amish man named Jesse.

We brought a picnic lunch and played at the playground for a little while. Landon loved the petting zoo.

Trying our hand at pretzel making.
This was our buggy driver and such a sweet man. He showed us some beautiful country side and informed us of Amish culture. Below is a picture of a farm we rode by.

Housework

This is the only way I can vacuum. My mom and I found it at a thrift store for $3 and it doesn't work but he doesn't care as long as he thinks he helping me.

Happy Halloween!

If I was caught up on my posts, this would have been three different posts. But since I'm behind, this will be one long post. You'll see a Halloween Party, Trunk or Treat at the church (we ended up staying inside because that was the day it snowed), and trick or treating on Halloween night.
Do you like our costumes?
At first he wanted to stay with Daddy and get candy from his bowl.
Then he caught on.

After the Trunk or Treat, he knew what was coming!
Trick or Treating buddies.
We pushed him in his car from house to house then he got out and walked up to the doors himself.

As you can see, he picked out a dumb dumb. Suckers are his favorite. He sees a white stick and pulls it out of the bowl of candy everytime.
