Honey Do List

We all here about these long lists that our wives make up for us to improve the home that we live in. Since I have been home, Crystal has been pretty good at making some home improvement lists. When we moved here to Philly we found that our dinner table got of few bumps and bruises. Then after we unpacked from our camping trip our bug repelant leaked on our table and stripped some of the finish. So Crystal decided that I should refinish the table. To give some advice to the person who hasn't refinished anything, it takes longer that it looks. Then when your wife tells you she doesn't like the color it takes even longer than expected. Anyway after many weeks of long hard grueling labor, the dinner table is my new pride and joy. It turned out great and we now have a place to eat.

Saddle Up Cowboy!

I realized that I never blogged about Landon's birthday party. So here it is. We had a cowboy birthday party for him since he was born in Texas. Troy and I made the invitations.

Troy and Landon setting up the food table. The Party People
All the kids "helped" Landon open his presents! Then he started to catch on. Singing Happy Birthday and blowing out the candle.
This is so cute. Shane fed Landon his cake.

We had a lot of fun with our friends. Thanks everyone for coming to the party!

Spontaneous

Since Troy has been out of school, we have been able to be much more spontaneous. We can pick and and go do what we want, when we want. A couple of weeks ago we came home from church and were talking about how crappy it is that east coast beaches charge $8 and piece to enter. They don't start charging until the public schools are out of session which would have been that coming Friday. We were leaving for Utah so if we wanted a free day at the beach we would have to leave Monday morning. Better yet, we decided to camp overnight so we could have two free days at the beach and a mini vacation before our vacation. It was the best weather and so relaxing.
