Grandma and Grandpa Seastrand

While we were in Utah we got to spend time with my sweet grandparents. My grandma made a delicious lunch and Troy's brother and my dear cousin, Emily, were able to join us. We had a great visit with them and wish we could have had more time with them.
Grandma's wonderful lunch.

Landon and Grandpa played barn animals for a long time.

My grandpa always has great advice to give. He gave some to Landon.

Uncle Jason (Troy's older brother) came over for lunch and to recieve his Christmas presents.

Here's our four generation picture. (Notice how Landon thinks he's talking on the phone)

Here's a picture with Emily. We hope that she and her little boy, Jackson, are able to come out east this summer for a visit!

Gingerbread House

Landon and I were able to go to Utah for a week in December before meeting up with Troy in Denver for Christmas. We had a great time visiting with family. Megan and her boyfriend, Marcus, got engagned on Christmas Day and have chosen to have their wedding in October. One night while we were there we built a gingerbread house. Landon thought it was great.

All Landon wanted to do was feed Megan the candies.

The finished product!

My Music Man

I had to share this picture back from Nov 17th. I thought it was so cute how he would sing while playing the piano. I would always turn down the volume of the piano and he would turn it right back up!

Our First Thanksgiving

This was our first year that we stayed home and had Thanksgiving dinner on our own. It was nice not to travel for a change. We had our friends Beth and Danny Millward over, as well as one of their friends from school named Missy.

I must say we were great cooks that day. Everyone kept saying Mmmmm all through dinner.

More fun with Grandma

Lots of Stories.
Soup in pumpkin bread bowls.

Playing in homemade tents.

Chuck E. Cheese

And playing in our Castle Bouncer.

The Tour de Philadelphia

We took my mom on the tour and had a nice time. We've done this a few times now and usually we start at Troy's school.

This is at a park near his school and we thought it was beautiful scenery.

We didn't realize we dressed as twins.
This was a neat sculpture created from sand. You can see the baseball and the Phillies logo in front because they had just won the World Series.
That is where the Declaration of Independence was signed.

The Great Liberty Bell.

Fall Leaves

I'm still blogging about things we did when my mom was here back in the beginning of Nov. I'm trying to catch up....but here we are at this cute little town in the Poconos. It's called Jim Thorpe and the postcards called in Switzerland in the Poconos. It was so beautiful up there. We shopped, ate lunch, and took a train ride. We think east coast leaves are absolutely gorgeous.
